The best home brewer in the world
Many renowned coffee experts consider the Technivorm Moccamaster line of coffee brewers to simply be the best available. Here's why:
Heat
Heats water to the proper temperature of 92 – 94 degrees Celsius (198 - 204 ˚F) and keeps it consistent through the whole brew cycle, ensuring proper flavour extraction from coffee grounds.
Speed
The Technivorm's brew cycle finishes in about six minutes. That's much shorter than other brewers, and better for your coffee.
Not Made in China
Quality of build is extremely important when it comes to coffee brewers. Each unit is hand-built and tested by ethically treated, well paid and knowledgeable people in The Netherlands (not China), meeting the very highest quality standards. They are imported directly by Transcend Coffee, and personally inspected by our staff before we ship them to you. These machines are incredibly solid, well put-together, and and easy to use. They will last for years and years to come. In fact, some European customers are still using the Technivorm brewer they purchased over 20 years ago!
This item qualifies for free shipping anywhere in Canada.
Media Endorsements
The Technivorm Moccamaster CD Thermal meets the very strict requirements of both the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) for coffee brewing quality. This is something very few coffee makers can claim.

Awesome

I've used this coffee maker for over a year and a half now, and I've always been very happy with the results. Technivorms live up to their reputation as the best brewers available.
My only complaint (and it's a very minor one) is that the insulated carafe doesn't hold heat as well as I would have liked, so I often transfer the coffee to a thermos if I'm not going to drink it right away. That said, I'd still rather use this model than relying on reheating the coffee later. -

I use the Kbts every day, it's very consistant in brewing a great cup of coffee. The temperature of the water and the saturation of the coffee grinds always give a great cup of coffee. I find it tastes best when I brew 6 cups of coffee, 6 and above is the best tasting coffee. Quick, efficient, great quality, worth every penny :)
